Why FFX Struck a Chord:
Its bittersweet ending—where star-crossed lovers Tidus and Yuna confront destiny—remains one of gaming’s most emotionally devastating moments. Combined with Nobuo Uematsu’s haunting soundtrack, it cemented FFX as a masterpiece of melancholy.
